Developing Leaders
Interested in becoming Licensed by the Alliance?
1
The first step is completing a Called2Serve Application. Upon completion, you will be contacted about a meeting with a district office staff member.
2
After your meeting with a district staff member, you will then be granted access to a larger application. This detailed application may take a few weeks to complete. Upon completion and approval of your application, you will be contacted about a formal interview with members of our Credentialing Council.
3
Following your Credentialing Council interview, you are now Accredited. If you hold a licensable roll at an Alliance Church, you will become a Licensed Worker in the OVD.
4
The Consecration & Ordination process will likely take two or three years. During this timeframe, you will meet regularly with an assigned mentor, complete papers, read books, and complete additional work.
5
Once you have completed all necessary work, you will participate in a Consecration & Ordination service. Your family, friends, and church family are invited to celebrate this exciting accomplishment with you!
Questions about this process?
You can reach out to Jordan McCain, the OVD Consecration & Ordination Coordinator.
